Dear Experts,
I created a service PR (Account Assignment category K and Item category D) and unit of measurement is AU at both header and line item level. PR quantity is 1 and value is 1,000 per unit so total PR value is 1,000. FM budget commitment document is created for 1,000 as normal.
Then i created a service PO by adopting above PR. Only difference is that I changed the quantity as 0.6 (instead of 1) so PO value becomes 1000*0.6 = 600. PO budget commitment document is created with value of 600 which is also fine.
Now when I analyze the budget consumption report, it shows the PR commitment reduced by full 1,000 but PO commitment is 600 only.
This is incorrect outcome because PR commitment reduction (Amount Type 200) and respective PO commitment (Amount Type 100) should be exactly same i.e. 600.
Please note in CUNI the "Value based Commitment" check is activated for AU unit of measure.
I also noticed the EBAN table on created PR and checked the field WRTKZ (Value based Commitment). This field is showing blank which should not because the Value based Commitment check is activated in CUNI settings for AU unit of measure.
Please guide what could be the reason of the issue and how to rectify it.

Dear Eli,
SAP replied on OSS ticket and advised to activate the check "Reduction of Purchase Requisition Commitment Value" in ML91.
Relevant note is 580595.
I followed the recommendation and tested the whole scenario again. It worked perfectly fine.
Also the field WRTKZ (Value based Commitment) is activated (X) in EBAN table when checked with reference to concerned new PR.

Great, thanks for the update!
Hi,
Coud be that you set the indicator to 'closed' to your PR?

Eli
