Populate Materials based on Property selection in EPM Template

Hi Everyone,

I have one Dimension called "MATERIAL" which contains Properties 3 Properties namely, Product Family & Region and Country. & I do have rest of required dimension for type planning model.

want to build a EPM Template to populate MATERIAL ID's based on Product Family, Region and Country Selection.

Means, user is expecting filter criteria from Properties and then populate Materials ID's in Rows.

any inputs..

I have one more question on Jump Reports from EPM Report to EPM Input schedules based on cell or row selection... I am wondering to use EPMLINK Function. Do you have any other functions or way to perform.

Hi Shri,

during my testing on filtering products in Row axis based on Product properties. Filter is not taking entire member. Lets say, if Member value is "Raw Material". In this case its taking only Raw which is first word. If keep it as Raw_Material then its working.  User do not give Raw_Material and also not expecting _ by the users during filtering time..

Have you face same issue..?

can any one us some thoughts on how to grab entire member in the filter ?

Hi Vadim,

Product Family is the one the Property in material/Item. Populated all Product Families in other Cells and look up them for drop down selection in Filter Area for user to choose Product Family.

1 : Choosing Product Family as Fat Binder.

2 : above step 1 product family value is used to combine all filters which is being used for EPMDimensionoverride function.

3: when i look at Row axis Item dimension members where i see only Fat. expected value is Fat Binder.

is it clear enough..?
