Hi experts
I have a query and a planning sequence on a workbook. When I opened the workbook by BPF the query enable de save button from AO but when saving it does anything. With the planning sequence it shows the following error:
When executing the query with the same user using RSRT it works fine and saves the data; with the planning sequence I execute it using RSPLAN and it works fine.
I open the workbook directly on AO (not by BPF) and it works fine. I don´t know why this happen, don´t know how to trace this. I already made a new workbook but the behavior is the same.
Any suggestions?
Hi Maria,
via BPF I expect that BPC Environment/Model is taken into account, i.e. the authorizations based on DAP are checked here. In the generic BW DAP play no role, i.e. RSPLAN, RSRT by default don't use/check BPC based stuff.
But also in RSPLAN and RSRT you can specify BPC Environment/Model, in RSPLAN there is a button (visible only if the aggregation level used is contained in a BPC Model), in RSRT you can use the parameters
environment=FOO&model=BAR
with BPC Environment = FOO and BPC Model = BAR.
Also in AO workbooks you can set BPC Environment/Model information, then also DAP will be checked.

So in other words, please check your DAP setup as you get an authorization error.

Gregor
