hi everyone

I ran into an werid issue when MRP planning.

the Ind requirement is in the future 2024/09/10, but the corresponding planning order geneated basic finish date is fall into past date 2023/11/20. for the planned item, it's in-house days is set to zero.  when I run MRP calculation, the parameter is 3-create plann order,3-Schedule lines, 1- create MRP list, 3-delete and recreate planning data. so every time the planning order should be re-generated.

for this generated plan order, only the opending date is correct. we need to align to the opening date!

the requirement is attached to a network. I checked the network dates, and it is also correct.

BTW, because this project created in system is an old one, I modifed the start date and end date in project to apply to newly attached component requirements(PIR) for test.

I dont' know how this happen.. please give some guidance, thanks in advance.

Hello @emmayoung

Are you sure you have replanned MRP after you have changed the project dates?

Try to run regenerative MRP for the material in question. That should rebuild procurement proposals irrespective of MRP file entries.

hi Dominik, thanks for your kindly reply on this issue. Sure, I have regenerate MRP planning after I changed project dates and save it. It seemed there is some cache impact on the MRP result. Since it is in a test enviroment, so I created a new project and attach the same assembly material with same requirement date, the planned order dates(including opening dates, basic start/end dates) turns into correct now.
