Percentage of ownership and control are zeroed out after clicking on ownerhip calculation

Hi Team,

I have maintained the required ownership structure in the ownership manager. However the percentage of control and ownership generated from the system are zero even though the current percentages are 100.

The percentage of control and ownership generated from the system should also be 100. Please advise from where I can change the required configuration to make the system generated percentages as 100.

Hi ,

Are you sure that the Measure you selected is Periodic? Generally in Ownership model is YTD and the ownership data is maintained at YTD?

Ownership model is defined as periodic and I have input the data at periodic level.

Hi Bharadwaj,

I suspect the ownership data may be missing at No Scope Level, as the PCON/PCTRL/POWN_SYS values are calculated based the ownership data at G_NONE(No scope) level and the methods business rule.

(Please refer page 10 in the the document https://archive.sap.com/documents/docs/DOC-4295 )

Can you please confirm if the ownership data (Share and control data) was entered for no scope (group) specification ( i.e, at G_NONE).

Hi Harsha,

Yes I have maintained the percentages and method at G_NONE level.

But still the generated percentages are 0. FYI, I'm using the direct share method and updating Method and Percentage consolidation.

We have recently migrated from 10.0 to 10.1 and we are using the functionality for the first time after migration. I suspect if this is something related to migration or any other missing configuration. Please let me know if you have any further queries.

Hi,

Normally the Method business rule is referred during the calculation, request you to check there.

Can you check through the steps from the below document(from the same author in the above comment), which may help you in getting the missed step.

Please find below screenshot of the methods maintained. Generated method is equity even though the percentage of consolidation generated is 100%.

System should generate the method as full and PCTRL and POWN as 100%. Not sure if any other config is missing.

what remains unanswered is how the system generated PCTRL and POWN are zeroed. Just want to understand if I'm missing any configuration.
