Passing a field from crm to SAP CPQ

Hi All ,

I have one question related to configuration of a field between CRM to CPQ .For instance CRM is integrated with CPQ and we get customer information[could be any field ] from CRM then how we gonna map[Display] this field to CPQ .

do we have to make configuration changes for all field coming from CRM.

or what all possible way we can achieve this .

sorry i missed that part , it is SAP CRM .

Is there any way we can send the field to CPQ without CPI configuration or it necessary to have CPI integration .
