PaPM - Show Last Activation Date of Functions

Hello Experts,

We have had some issues with Writer Functions in PaPM.

It appears that the Writer function is active in the Environment, yet the results are not always corresponding to the latest version.

Is there any way to confirm which predecessing functions should be activated, without the need to activate all of the Environment? For instance, a column or a report showing when was each function of the Environment last activated?

Could you please elaborate exact issue you are facing.

What do you mean by results not always corresponding to the latest version. Are you referring to data run once you execute writer function?

Hello Anmol,

It is precisely that. The data that the Writer contains is sometimes not in accordance to the rules defined in the previous functions.

Consider this simplified example where in the View function we add a formula on the field "Date" corresponding to LAST_DAY("Date").

Is there a way to prevent this situation from happening without having to activate all of the Environment before each execution?

Please check if you have set Processing Type for Writer function to "Executable"

Hello Anmol,

We did the following tests (picture in attachment - PaPM Writer Tests), having only concluded that the Writer must be activated for results to be ok.

However, in the column "Change State", the Environment states the Writer (34235) is "not Changed" even when a predecessing join or view has been changed.

Is there a specific reason for this behaviour?
