PAPM - activities state in a process

Hello,

we are starting to deploy every month a process instance with several activities. The first month worked fine.

After deploying the following month, we checked the process in My Activities and we noticed that the state in every activity is already in green status.

How it works this state indicator? Is it possible to set it blank every time we deploy a process?

The State on the 'My Activities' application varies if the activity was completed or in process. If the process instance is newly deployed, the State of the activity should be 'None' (represented by a Diamond icon on the State Column). Once the activity is completed, the status is 'OK' (represented by a green square icon).

We have tried to replicate the scenario you have provided by creating and deploying a process instance, and the status of the activities under it is 'None' (Diamond icon) and the Activity State is Open.

Hi SB, depending on the definition of the business process, you can maintain a process or reset it. Typically a process is a representation of a business "period".

Let´s say you construct a P&L every month, your process will be "P&L July 2021", each month you could create a new one. This way gives you the flexibility to consult each period individually and also the model runs only with that period data (depending on your parameters) if you want to. If your process is more technical, let´s say you have a calculation that doesn´t depend on the period, that way you can only use 1 process and resetting it every time you need it.
