Organizational Change: Mass Change Profit Center Assignment

Hi All,

We currently have a customer who periodically conducts a profit center reorganization. At the moment, the Manage Organizational Changes app can be used for this purpose. However, we need to manually update the new profit centers for cost centers each time, as described here: 

"The current scope also includes the reassignment of profit centers in cost centers. However, you don’t need to maintain the new profit center to cost center assignment in the Manage Organizational Changes app. Instead, you use the Manage Cost Centers app or the Change Cost Center transaction (KS02) to create a new validity period for a cost center with the new profit center assignment. If the Activate Organizational Change option is selected in the Activate Organizational Change Features Customizing activity, and if a suitable organizational change exists, the new profit center assignment is automatically considered in the organizational change." Is there a way to perform a mass update of cost centers or a job? Currently, many manual steps are required, making the entire process very error-prone. Is there a best practice for this?
