Hello everybody, I have to restore a appset, but I have issue with the OLAP, I think it can be a problem of space, since a smaller AppSet works
This Backup weighs around 2.7 GB and the .BAK file weighs only 1.9 GB.
My server has the following characteristics.
APP
C: 50 GB and 22 free
E 100 and 72 GB free
The data is on disk E
BD
C: 100 and 80 GB free
E: 200 GB and 144 free
As I said earlier with a smaller AppSet if it works, especially this fails to restore the OLAP.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance and greetings

Hello fellow, after struggling with the server for nearly a month, I had discovered that some dimensions no had no members, I entered one member to these dimensions and it works correctly OLAP restored.

Hi Alan,
as April wrote check your logs on servers to understand the reason, verify that there is also space for logs on SSMS all files have enough space to expand itself, often the logs and sometimes also the db is defined restricted, in this case verify that the size is not near to the max value admitted.

Hi Alan,
Usually that error occurs when the SQL shared features prerequistes are not installed on the app server. However since a smaller DB works then that likely is not the case. If you think space is an issue then you should read your operating system event logs from the app and database server to determine if that is the cause.
Thanks,
April
