Hello
We have three system landscape and currently we are on SAP BW NW 7.40 SP 13 and CPMBPC 810 SP8. We have created custom roles for team, DAPs and task profiles with company namespace to integrate with GRC
1) We have transported the Task profiles objects from DEV as per the BPC Transport Guide ( through RSA1 ) and custom roles but the objects are not being reflected in the QA system as expected. Due to this, we are not able to create, modify, and delete the task profiles in QA frontend. Attached is the document showing the discrepancy between DEV and QA.
2) In addition, we are not able to transport the team. Is this an issue or system does not allow to transport teams?
Please suggest.

Hi Abhishek,
Have you followed this document....http://sapassets.edgesuite.net/sapcom/docs/2015/08/e8d45486-547c-0010-82c7-eda71af511fa.pdf

Hello JP
We have performed the steps mentioned but still we are facing issues. The task profiles are not in sync in DEV and QA.
Is it related to user assignments of the task profiles? ( we have to remove user assignments in DEV or QA and then transport ) or some other approach has to be taken? Please suggest
Regards
Abhishek
Hi Abhishek,
What issues are you facing after the transport? Was the transport successful? Are you able to see the Data access profiles, task profiles, teams in QA? Users are not be assigned through BPC front end to DAP's, Task profiles etc, it has to be done through CUP as the document suggests.
If you have followed the document from start to end...then I don't think there should be a problem. Ask the BASIS person to check the configuration of DEV and QA whether they are similar or not, all the settings etc. Might be that can be the cause...

JP
Hello JP, thank you for the responses..!!
We have followed and done the modification as suggested by the document. The customization has been done long time back, but due to some business requirement, we made some modification/creation of the task profiles. When we transported, TR has no errors and was successful. But the task profiles are not visible in the QA - RSA1 due to which I cannot access them on frontend. There are no problems in viewing Teams and Data Access Profiles.
Currently, GRC integration is through the testing phase and user assignment is done through SU01 by assigning them custom roles.
The issue is with task profiles. Is it necessary that when we transport Tasks profiles, DAP, there should be no user assignment in source system ?
You said about the configuration settings, could you please elaborate on what kind of settings need to be done so i could consult BASIS team?

The customization has been done long time back, but due to some business requirement, we made some modification/creation of the task profiles.Have you created the Task profile from BPC frontend??? As per the document the Task profile too are not to be assigned to users but to teams...
Is the GRC not yet integrated with BPC? If not, then task profiles with users assigned after transport should be visible in QA!
Sorry, I don't have much knowledge about BASIS activities, so its just better to ask them only to conduct the testing.
Hope this helps...

Hello JP
The issue identified is that system is not able to recognize the custom task profile roles that have been created. Once we update the UJE_PROFILE_AGR table, something happens to task profiles and then we are not able to open/modify the task profiles through front end in QA
Please note, before transport, we delete the entries from UJE_PROFILE_AGR table and then update it with custom roles
Please suggest.
Regards
Abhishek
