Hi,
We have activated SAP Flexible Real estate with the function CE01 for IFRS16. in our sandbox. I have created a contract type and assigned to the screen sequence mentioned in the documentation of the new 'Balance sheet evaluation' (REGCCE). The screen sequence displays the screens for Valuation and Valuation Parameters and I have run the BUSP transaction to regenerate the screen many times. When running transaction RECN or RECECN I cannot see the tabs for Valuation. The field 'Valuation reference' on the first tab is not displayed either, even if I have added value references in IMG. We have created a role copy of the SAP_RE_APPL role and added the authorization objects for valuation and SU53 does not give any error messages now. Anyone which have a clue on how I can get further? This stops the whole Proof of concept for us. Tips would be greatful 🙂 I do not have any experience with the BDT framework from earlier.
We are on version FIN_618 SP7 and I have installed the new OSS notes
Best regards, Tine

Hi Tine
When you define the valuation rule you have to set for all contract type and for all company code the flag "Val. Active"
After that, for me, the dynpros are OK.

Thank you so much Sarah! The little checkbox for 'Val. active' on the Company code was not checked. This important checkbox is not mentioned in the IMG doc. Now I can see bot the field 'Valuation refernce' and the tab 'Valuation parameters. I would never have solved this without your help 🙂
Best regards, Tine
To activate the CE01 function follow the menu path:
RECACUST - RE-FX Spro menu
Country Specific - Germany -> Land use Management -> Central Settings for land use management -> Activate Sub application
Click new entry, add CE01 and tick the activation tick box.
Why SAP have hidden this important part of configuration in this area which underpins valuation I don't know, would make more sense for it to be part of the basic settings.
