Not able to display the GL Account for Sales Tax

Hi All,

I am running the report: FBL3N and FS10N for a GL account Sales Tax.

Data earlier than November 2021 are not available in this GL account. Do you know what could be the reason about it?

Error Message appearing is: Message no. MSITEM033

I know that there were some Item posted to this GL account and also I am authorized to display and there were no Migration of data to new GL account. So could it be because these Item have already been archived?

Which table / transaction code I can use to see archived data? What could be the solution in this case??

Thank you for the support

Error Message appearing is:

No items selected (see long text)

Message no. MSITEM033

Diagnosis

No line items meeting your selection criteria could be read. This could be for the following reasons:

    1. No corresponding items have been posted.
    2. You are not authorized to display this data.
    3. The items have already been archived.
    4. Migration from classic General Ledger Accounting to new General Ledger Accounting: In migration phase 1, postings are only made to the account for the non-leading ledger.

Hi

Please check if the GL Account was changed to Open Item Managed since Nov 2021. You can check the change logs in FS00. If you are an end user, please take help from your IT Colleagues for the same.

Thanks & Regards

Hi

You mentioned that items before Nov 2021 are not being displayed and that currently the GL is OI managed. There is a specific process to be followed to convert a GL Account from non OI to OI Managed. I am not sure what is your system (ECC or S/4HANA and which version). If you are an end user, I would suggest to reach out to your IT Colleagues on the same.

The below blog explains on how OI Managed should be executed in a new gl enviornment on ECC.
