Not able to delete Action from function in NWBC GRC

Hi Experts,

As per business requirement, one Action need to delete from function, after deleting that Action and while saving it system is not allowing me to save it and throwing error as "Error in function permission". one more point there is no permissions for this t code in permissions tab to delete it. but still system throwing this error.

Kindly help to me how to delete this action from function and how to resolve this issue ?

Hi Ayyappa, thank you for your screenshot. When I suggested you to check for any potential AND / OR mismatches, it was related to the Permissions for other Actions that remained in this Function. Also, there are a couple of troubleshooting you may perform in this case:

1) Does this issue occur only when you delete this specific HRRP_REP Action or is it for any other Action / Permission within this or any other Function? In case it happens for any Action / Function, I would suggest you to review your connector group settings in SPRO to ensure they are setup correctly.

2) Have you uploaded the ruleset in mass? If so, have you generated all Risks after the upload? If not, you may do it and test it again.

Hello Josiane,

Thank you so much, yes above SAP note is very useful for my issue and issue got resolved. the error is mainly coming due to keeping the field values as empty even though authorization objects are in Active status.

So, finally what i am trying to say, if you keep authorization object filed values are empty for which Auth objects status as already active, system won't allow you to make any changes to it.

Hi Ayyappa, I see your screenshot has a filter which does not allow us to see all contents. Have you checked AND / OR conditions for the remaining values in the Function to ensure they are assigned correctly and do not have any mismatches? Also, ensure you have the Authorization and Repository object jobs running periodically in GRC.

Please find the below updated screen and there is no permissions for this t code.

yes all sync jobs are running periodically, AND/OR conditions are maintained for other t codes in this function but this t code does not have any permissions in permission tab..can you suggested me how to delete this t code

Hi Ayyappa, have you checked whether this Function has any duplicated items? I had such error in the past due to some of the SAP standard Functions had duplicated entries under Permissions tab. Thank you.

Hi Josiane,

Thanks for your response, in permission tab there is no permissions for this t code this basically BPC report t code, while adding this t code there is no permissions are pulled into this function. We have only action in Action tab. but same t code existed in other function as well is it reason for getting this error ? should we remove t code from first from other function ?
