No methodology error when importing role in GRC AC 12.0

Hello,

I am getting error "No methodology defined" while importing role in GRC. This is the first role which I am importing and BRM will not be implemented. I have ran all sync jobs and table GRACRLCONN is populated. I have tried both user input and import using file option and I am getting same error for both. Please advise how to fix the issue.

Thanks

Anika

you still need to complete basic configuration of BRM - have you activated the relevant BC sets and set the configuration parameters. there is a BC set for methodology

Hi Colleen,

Thanks for your reply. You are right. I missed to activate BC set GRAC_ROLE_MGMT_METHODOLOGY. After activating it, when I tried to import role again I got attached error (Creating text ROLE_SIN/028464580CB81EDAB38E665509CC8B64/LONG_TEX failed)

I also looked at SE75 -->GRAC-->Text ID and there is entry LTXT. Do you know what can be done to fix this issue?

Hey Anika

Looks like you are almost there!

According to the note you are look for GRC > LTXT not GRAC

1895324 - Role Import ends with an error "LONG_TEX failed"

Thanks a ton Colleen. I created GRC object in SE75 as mentioned in the note and role import worked 🙂 .

Anika
