No Data and Zero Values - EPM Report Editor Options

On the options tab of the EPM report editor, settings could be made for No Data and Zero Values, Query Options etc. These are not showing on the same menu using EPM Plug-In. I can't find anything on the forums or SAP One relating to this, is this something others have experienced?

Hi Vadim,

Apologies, will try to be clearer. As per attached screenshot of EPM - Report Editor Options tab (from EPM Add-In) we have options for handling of zero values in row and column (zero suppression). On the same tab using AFO (EPM Plug-In) these options are not present. I have reviewed the EPM Plug-In guide and it still advises that we should be able to set handling of zero values by report (as opposed to using sheet options which is applicable to all reports on the sheet).

Sorry, but NEVER use "Insert File" instead of correct "Insert Image"! Unreadable!

And still not clear! Why "these options are not present"???

Hi Vadim,

I have attached screenshots of same tab from EPM Add-In (SP30) and EPM Plug-In (AFO 2.7 SP06) using insert image this time 🐵 Hopefully it is now clear that the suppression options are not available in AFO, the user needs to set these by report, so Sheet Options is not suitable for their needs.

I suspect that you have issues with screen resolution and magnification in Excel!

Look on your AO screenshot:

Try fresh AO SP or play with resolution!

I tend to agree with you, I had noted the early cut off. There are a few posts related to other display issues in AFO that recommend a change to excel compatibility settings but I don't have the same options in excel. I will have a play with resolution in the morning and try a few keyboard navigations to see if I can tab into the 'hidden' area.

Hi Vadim, I couldn't get around this no matter what resolution settings I changed. I flagged this to SAP who advised that it is a known bug and no correction will be issued. Need to upgrade to SP07 to resolve this.

Sorry, but my answer is still correct!

The issue is with screen resolution and I recommended you to upgrade to fresh SP!
