New cube created not showing in admin console

BPC EPM25 - we created a new cube in our development environment. IT policy, has to be transported in BW to TEST environment, then to Production.

We can see the new cube in the test environment on the BW side after transport, but it does NOT show at all in the admin console, for us to add security.

How do we get this to show in the admin console? Is there some setting, flag, box to be checked? Something to do differently?

Hi William,

Maybe your User id doesn't have required access to see the model, please check Security for your user.

Well the new model does not show in the list of models, so I cant set security. I am the system admin, in development, test, and production, and when we created this model in DEV, or course it wasn't available to add in the EPM connections, because there was no security in the admin access profile to the new model - but it was fine once we added security to the admin profile.

The problem in the QA system is, that after transport on the BW side from DEV to QA, the new cube does not even show in the list for us to add security

Please check the following

1.If Data Access Profiles are transported for the new model.

2. Compare security tables UJE_PROFILE_AGR, UJE_TEAM_AGR between Dev and QA systems and update them if necessary.

Apologies I will clarify - In development, environment XYZ, we created new model FIN.

IT transported in BW the new FIN model from development to test.

In test, when logged into XYZ environment, admin side, where you can create dimensions, set security, audit, etc, we cannot see the new FIN model - to set security, so it is available in the EPM add in for excel.

However, the new model / cube can clearly be seen on the BW side in test.

Question is, was something wrong in transport that makes it not visible at all? Is there some setting we can change to make it show?

What do you mean by admin console?

In general please check data access profile for this cube.
