.NET4 EPM Add-In Not Recognized by 64-bit Excel

Hello,

I'm installing EPM SP21 Patch 2 .NET 4 on a computer with 64-bit OS and 64-bit Office 2013.  However, when I opened Excel, the Add-in was not launched.  I checked the COM Add-Ins and the EPM was not there either.

I found that the EPM was installed under Program Files(x86)\SAP Business Objects\EPM Add-In, but the 64-bit Office is under Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\Office 2015.

Based on the location of the EPM under the x86 Folder, my assumption is that Excel does not recognize.

Per oss note 1681042, I've confirmed that the LoadBehavior = 3 in the registry under:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\FPMXLClient.Connect]

Does anyone have a recommendation how to fix this?

Hi Oma,

Have a look at note 2281806.

Make sure you have .net 3.5 SP1 installed as well.

Thanks Andy - note 2281806 was helpful summary of the add-in requirements.  I didn't add any new ones, as I was already prompted to add vba for applications 2013 or later, which allowed me to proceed with the installation as described above.

In any event, I was able to install SP25 Patch 1 .Net 4 without any issues, so I'll proceed with this for now.  .Net 3.5 wasn't required.
