Hi Guys,
I have an issue in posting of negative expense in FI and its update in FMRP_RW_BUDCON - Budget Consumption Report. assume there is a consumable budget of 1000 USD available at all for a particular Fund/Fund Center/Commitment Item and user anyhow credits an expense account by value of 1500 USD in a period which in turn derives that budget address and generates a negative consumed amount. This increases Available Amount column values to 2500 USD without impacting Consumable budget which stays at 1000 USD. Is there a way to implement a check where if available amount becomes greater than consumable budget then system should prohibit it.
This increases values in Available Amount column without increasing Consumable Budget at all . So i am looking at two options a. Not letting available amount becoming greater than consumable budget value for a budget address. b. If point it is not possible then is it possible to increase consumable budget when a negative expense posting happens ?Thanks
Atif

Hi,
This is standard behaviour. Unless, you exclude these transactions, via BADI AVC filter or via derivation strategy, from consumable budget, or actually from actual/commitment registry.
