Need Solution to Post SAC Plan Data (Cost Element 43) to SAP ECC along with sender & Receiver CC's

Hi Experts,
Question: 1
I would like to perform planned activity quantity allocations in SAP ECC, specifying the sender cost center, receiver cost center, and activity type, similar to how we handle actual postings using T-code KB21N.

Could you please advise if there is a corresponding T-code, function module, or BAPI available for handling this in the plan version?

Question: 2

In SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning, we are planning data for Cost Element Category "43" with a Sender Cost Center and a Receiver Cost Center. This also Plan version

Now, we would like to write back this data to SAP ECC.

Could you please let us know if there is any function module, BAPI, or standard program available to post Cost Element Category "43" entries, including both Sender and Receiver Cost Centers?

Hello @brahmareddy_kolli

For your need to post SAC plan data for Cost Element Category 43, including sender and receiver cost centers, into ECC

  1. In ECC (Planning)
    • There’s no single T-code equivalent to KB21N for plan postings.
    • You can utilise standard plan input transactions such as KP06 for costs and KP26 for activity quantities, or alternatively, use BAPIs like:
      • BAPI_COSTCENTER_PLN_COSTS – for planning costs.
      • BAPI_COSTCENTER_PLN_ACTINPUT_QTY – for planning activity quantities.
    • After posting data, utilise allocation cycles (KSVP/KSVB) to allocate planned activity quantities between sender and receiver costs centers.
  2. From SAC to ECC
    • SAP Analytics Cloud lacks a built-in write-back connector for ECC plan data, unlike those available for S/4HANA or BW.
    • Integration is usually carried out through custom CPI/PI/PO or Cloud Connector RFC calls that invoke the BAPIs mentioned above to load plan data into ECC.
    • This method allows passing sender and receiver cost centers along with Cost Element Category 43, as long as the relevant planning version is open in ECC.

SAP Documentation SAC Integration Overview

You can meet the requirement, but it will require a custom integration layer to post from SAC to ECC using planning BAPIs. There’s no standard SAC → ECC write-back scenario available.

Let me know if you need further support
