Anyway, if you have error with copy - you have to investigate it!

Hello,

As others suggested if you are not able to copy an environment it may be the sign of invalid metaframe information.  You need to confirm if your source environment is correct because even if  you can restore a copy of the environment you may still have problems using it.  I suggest to check the environment executing UJA_DATA_CHECKER.

After restore with different name you will have a copy of the environment! What to "proceed further"???

since it is a test for me, may i kindly ask someone how to proceed with ujbr and create environment. i have given tcode: ujbr and provided the environment id.. finally system gives ZIPPED data in the file path. so what i need to do after this with that extracted file from system.

"since it is a test for me" - then you need to do something yourself! Just try to restore

And search forum, UJBR was discussed a lot...

If you have errors with copy then you may have the same errors with restore with UJBR!

You have to check the logs ST22, SLG1. You can click on the "see details" when copying environment to say something more

Hi Merwin,

Yes I too agree with Vadim.....What wrong with the copying? Give the error screenshot......Also run UJA_DATA_CHECKER on the environment which you are using to create a copy...so that you will know if anything is missing in the env!

JP

It's better to analyze the issue with "Copying failed"
