Navigation between several hierarchies in BW-query in Analysis for Office

Hi Experts,

I'm writing with regard to navigation between several hierarchies in BW-query in Analysis for Office.

Briefly the problem is that how to implement navigation from one hierarchy to another one. First hierarchy describes company organization structure and the second hierarchy is for some KPI's (lot of KPI's). Number of org. sturcture nodes is aproximately 700 nodes and 500 leafs. And the same for KPI hierarchy.

I have already pursued this matter and I have an idea to create two separate hierarchies, two BW-queries based on these hierarchies and realize a navigation via VBA-button from one query to another (if Excel survive).

Could you be so kind and share with me your thougts and ideas is my idea will go live or die? Or maybe you can suggest more elegant and easier solution.
