Raj,
Start from here. The middleware MBC is managed by SAP themselves. They will do the connectivity with the Bank. Meaning this middleware is sold to customers under a SaaS model.
You will be configuring your SAP S4 or ECC instance to talk to MBC.
Connectivity:
There is a SSL certificate between SAP and MBC to exchange data. There is SSL & PGP between MBC and Bank. The SaaS team will provide you the cert to connect SAP with MBC in the cloud.
Files:
You will exchange files between SAP and MBC. If you generated / consumed files from the bank this will be transparent to you. Consider MBC as a black box.
Good luck.
Start here.
Tip: Message ID is unique to the file and the bank uses it to distinguish whether it's a duplicate file or not. Most banks use it, your may not be using it.

Hi Maulik ,
We are also in middle of implementation and trying to connect MBC tenant with or on-premise SAP ECC , We are stuck certificate part , Do you have any idea what type of certificate is needed as we are trying to export certificate from Strust but as per SAP MBC team we need to get it signed from a trusted authority like Digi cert or Sectigo , but our network team suggests that self signed certificate will not work for Digi cert and also it will not let ECC connect with MBC tenant due to firewall settings.
Can you please share your experience regarding the certificate and what's the best way to create CSR and share certificate with SAP MBC team.
Thanks in advance.
Harris
We have used proxy server between SAP and MBC.
1) Your signed certificates need to be handed over to the MBC team. They will install that in MBC.
2) In the proxy server you would configure MBC's DNS entries to allow connectivity.
3) In SM59, you will configure MBC through the proxy. HTTP connection.
In Technical Settings Tab
Notes
1) Trusted CA’s
Hope this helps. Good luck.
Some Info on Proxy. Check with your network security team or your SAP Basis Admin.
