Dear Experts,
when browsing through the MSMP related tables, I stumbled upon the field
STAGE_EXEC_SEQNR: Stage Execution Sequence Number
(e.g. in the tables GRFNMWRTINSTWI and GRFNMWRTSTAPPR)
What is the use of this field and what information does it contain?
I'd really appreciate your help or even reference some useful resource.
Thank you!

Hi Carl,
Stage Execution Sequence Number is just a running number which will be aligned to the sequence the stages are executed in your MSMP workflow path.
e.g. If your workflow path has 3 stages. As per workflow configuration, if Stage 010 executes first and then Stage 020 and Stage 030, the Stage Execution Sequence Number will be aligned to those stages as below:
Stage 010 - Seq Number will be 1
Stage 020 - Seq Number will be 2
Stage 030 - Seq Number will be 3
Regards,
Madhu
