Hi,
How are you trying to view the data in the Virtual Provider (i.e. *_B Model). LISTCUBE transaction should not be used. Try creating a BEX Query on the Virtual Prov.
Also regarding the error message you are getting - once the setting 'Use as Source Data' is checked you are not supposed to uncheck it, this will technically delete the Virtual provider in the back ground and will cause other issues if you've got depended BW objects built on top. Hence don't try that.
Also please provide what version upgrade (From and To) have been performed ?
Cheers!
Venkat

Hi, We postupgrade to BW 7.4 SP14, BPC 801 SP13.
We are unable to view the data through Bex queries and try to see virtual cube data. some of them i can see the data but some of the Virtual cubes are not.
we have created multiprovider on it and created a query but unable to view the data after upgrade.
but we have set parameter as "X" for "ENABLE_FIXED_CUBENAME". so it will not create another virtual cube. i think it it will overwrite the existing one with the same technical name.
please let me know if i am worng. and also i am new to BPC
Thank You

Post upgrade can you see data in the underlying cube, i.e. the Real-time cube which Virtual provider is based upon ?
Is the problem in Dev or Test/QA/Prod ?
Also ..
- Try closing the cube requests (change from yellow to green) or run Lite Optimize
- Check the BEX filters and free chars
- Try posting data to the real-time cube from the EPM add-in and check if it's saving correctly in the real-time cube
.. if all else fails then raise it with SAP as an upgrade bug
