Hi expert,
After I have executed the UJT_MIGRATE_75_TO_101 program to upgrade from 7.5 to 10.1 NW, the log file from the program clearly stated that there are a total of 130 business rules migrated.
However when we did a check in 10.1 environment, there are only 61 business rules available. May I know if I have to perform any steps to activate the rest of business rules ? or if I have missed out any steps during the upgrade and migration process ?
Log file from UJT_MIGRATE_75_TO_101
Business Rules from 10.1NW (after upgrade)

Hi Elvin,
You can't compare the log file with the rules in the web admin, it is not 1:1 reflection of the business rules.
in the log file those are table entries, and some rules might appear in multiple tables.
If you want to compare business rules you need to compare to your old 7.5 appset.

Hi Andy,
1) Some example of the missing business rules are business rules for :
- Currency Conversion > There are almost 100 business rules in 7.5NW however in EPM 10.1 I see 0 business rules
- Intercompany Booking > There are 10 business rules , but in EPM 10.1 I see 0 business rules
2) In the error checker, the error are related to :
- Missing templates
- Missing Data Manager
- Missing publication
- Missing security (user id / data access profile)
- Dimension which do not have the required attributes
- System parameter missing. FIELD = TEMPLATEVERSION and TYPE = SYSTEM
Hi Elvin,
Have a look at this migration guide.
have a look at SLG1 and see the errors in detail.
Andy
Hi Elvin,
Have you activated Environment shell?
and try to run UJA_DATA_CHECKER and see if there is any error?

Rahul
