Matrix of properties in SAP BPC 10.1

Hi all,

we are on SAP NW BPC 10.1 SP 4

We want to achieve something similar like characteristic relationships in SAP BI-IP.

We have the following situation:

We have the entities 1012 and 1050 and dimension A with the dimension members DIM001, DIM002, DIM003 and DIM004. The dimension members DIM002, DIM003 and DIM004 are assigned to entity 1012 and the dimension members DIM001, DIM002 and DIM003 are assigned to entity 1050.

So we have the following matrix of assignments

Masterdata	EntityNr	Dimension A

1012	DIM002	DIM003	DIM004
Dimension A	Entity
DIM002	1012,105
Dimension A	Entity1	Entity2
DIM002	1012	1050

In which way can such a request be implemented in the system. Is it possible to enter in the dimension entity several dimension member of dimension A into the  properties of dimension entity and to filter via properties in reporting and input schedules?

In short you have 2 dimensions with logical relationship many to many! This can't be done using multiple values in property. One of the possible (but not elegant) approaches is described here:
