Material document in GTS

Hi Gurus,

As i understood from SAP Help, Material document from Purchasing perspective is relevant for customs declaration in GTS under the application area MM0C,  But the same material document from Sales Point of view is not relevant for either customs declaration or customs document in GTS.

Is there any special reason why only MM material document is relevant and why not SD material document?

Please throw some light on it

Hi Santosh,

Exports are based on Billing Documents (SD0C); Imports are (generally) based on Goods Receipts (MM0C).

Actually that's a rather simplistic view, so if you want to know more, just ask...
