Master data approval: Workflow and Owners

Hi All,

i am trying to approve Organizations, as a part of Process Control. So, i am raising request for change in organizations. So, as i understand the users who would have been assigned the roles in Maintain Custom Agent Determination Rules, will receive the workflows.

But shall all the users who have been assigned the role SAP_GRC_SPC_GLOBAL_ORG_ADMIN be receiving the workflow.

How do i see the PC workflows, as a PC admin

Hello Plaban,

You first need to activate the master data change workflow through the path -

SPRO -> Governance, Risk and Compliance -> Shared Master Data Settings -> Activate Workflow for Master Data Changes

Say here you have activated it for Organization (for Approval or for Notification)

Now the roles that you have defined in Custom Agent Notification for entity "Organization" and business event - 0FN_MDCHG_APPR or
0FN_MDCHG_APPR according to your requirement will get the approval.

You can check the users assigned to the roles in the table "HRP1852".

Hi Amit,

We have AC Organizations and PC organizations, created Mitigation controls by using AC organizations. I tried to setup Master data workflow for Entity ID (CONTROL) but workflow and notifications are not triggered to approvers. Always it goes to PC-FALLBACK user id.

Can Master data work be used for Mitigation Controls created by using AC organizations?

Do you have any idea?

Step 1- Maintain Custom Agent Determination Rules is not used for assignment of role. Here we define the role which will received the workflow.

Step 2- the same role should be maintained against organisation entity as entity level authorisation.

Step 3: Assign the users organisation level.

Step 4: Initiate the master data change

Step 5: Validate the workflow

Follow the 5 steps to have the Master data change workflow working in SAP GRC PC

Hi All,

I have activated all the workflows, PFTC SWE2 and SWDD.i have assigned all roles of PC, activated XPROCESS and assigned roles to XPROCESS.

But the approver, still does not get work item in his inbox

Could someone please suggest
