Mass upload to PaPM Cloud Model table function with "Query Tag" field not working

Hi Team,

I have a query marked as "VALUE"LIST" and using this query in one of my field as master data. Now i have added this master data field in model table with other table fields. I am trying to import the file in this table. However not able to update the data. Error stating " Not available in possible option".

If I am doing a single record update then i am able to get values for master data field.

Has anyone faced this issue earlier.

Greetings!

I understand that you are encountering a behavior wherein uploading to a Model Table function that includes a field referenced to a Query tagged as "VALUE_LIST" as its master data does not proceed with error “Not available in possible option”.

This was checked and replicated with below steps:

1. Query tagged as "VALUE_LIST" has been created with below sample data:

2.Query tagged as "VALUE_LIST" has been referenced to a characteristic field in the Environment:

3. The field is assigned to a Model Table function (Transport data: unchecked):

4. Import/Upload of file to Model Table is chosen that contains the following data:

5. Import was successfully done and the data uploaded can be displayed as well when Model Table is launched in the Show & Analyze screens.

With this, may I kindly ask if you can try and check again on your end if it now works?

Now kindly take note in the scenario that if your master data and hierarchy from the Query contains multiple hierarchies, and a specific Hierarchy Name has been selected for the target field when referencing it to a Query (as seen from Step 2) – it is expected that only the master data values from the selected hierarchy would be accepted during upload. Any value that is not part of the selected hierarchy from target field that is referenced to a Query tagged as “VALUE_LIST” as its master data, would not be accepted and be shown with validation errors once upload is performed. See below screenshot as an example when a file that includes values that are not part of selected hierarchy is uploaded:
