Maintenance and distribution of SAP EPM Add-in connection preference

Hello experts,

We are in process of implementing SAP Single Sign-On and want to setup the connection preference on the EPM Add-in to use "SAP Secured Login Profile". Where can we setup these connection preferences on the EPM Add-in connection configuration. As per SAP KB 1840478 the connection configuration file is connections.xml, however, we are not exactly sure which parameters to change in the connections.xml file to enable "SAP Secured Login Profile" and configure appropriate client authentication profile for the specific connection (see screenshot as an example). Also the "OK" button to save the connection preference remains greyed out. How can we save the preferences to the connections.xml file and get it distributed to globally?
