log details of Changes in SCRIPT LOGIC and Report Layout

Is it possible to track the changes done in PROD system's Logic scripts and Reports' Layout in SAP BPC 10 NW.

You can activate audit activity for the same.

It will not trace the changes in Script Logic. If am wrong, request you to correct me by providing the details of how to do it.

Is it not possible to track script logic change report layout change.

use profile to restrict users to change script logic.

and for reports you create a master version and maybe sure no one changes that, and if user want to change then they must save a copy to there laptop/pc.

Hi Vadim,

I know that the audit activity will not provide the log of script chage and report changes. It will only highlight the activity of user/ when the script logic/report is changed.

Hi Sekhar,

It will not trace any changes. It will highlight when the changes are done in report or script.

As suggested by andy, you can restrict the access to change the things with core/master users.

In order to track changes in script logic you have to save versions of scripts after each change and compare text files... Theoretically possible but will require a lot of abap code and modification of original bpc code... With report templates you can't do anything!
