Loading Master Data from InfoObject takes long (+600 sec)

Hi,

I am loading master data from an InfoObject, but the execution of the Package takes very long:

Do you have an idea, why the red marked steps takes that long? I am loading round about 550 members.

Your help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hi Simon,

Share your transformation file, are you using routine BADI in your transformation?

How many properties is in the dimension that you are mapping?

Also during the load, from the selection button, only select the necessary attributes in the info object, that will speed up the load as well.

it seems that this problem is not only related to BPC.

Currently we have a problem with our master data process chains too.

The step "Update Master Data Attributes" takes very long due to table deadlock or timeouts:

Do you have any idea how we can solve this problem?

Ask you BASIS to investigate.

can be memory issue, server issue etc.

Hello,

Are you executing the standard BPC package for loading of master data?  Please enable ST12 trace and it will give precise information about what is getting executed and how long time is being spent in each step.
