Load the Quote Global script

Hi team , I'm facing some issue with Loading the Quote .I'm executing some logic on Quote custom field change event . If old value and new value are different then I want reload the Quote . I have figured out getting new value and Old value .but I'm stuck with Quote load .

Since I'm not using custom action so that's why can't use WorkflowContext

Pls help on this..

Reloading the quote is an expensive operation and chances are you do not need it really. Maybe it makes sense to redefine the problem you are trying to solve. Can you please try expanding on what is exact business requirement that you are trying to deliver?

Additionally it would be helpful to share if you are working on Quote 1.0 or Quote 2.0

Hi Luka,

FYI Im using Quote 2.0.

I have a business requirements if quote expiration date is changes and the old and new value belongs to diff quarte(Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4)

Then I want to revise the Quote automatically /programmatically and load new revised Quote to user .

Issue : when I'm calling revise action using in global script using standard Rest API then system is revising the Quote but not loading new instance of Quote .{user has to load manually from Quote list which we don't want.}

I'm running Quarter check validation in Global script at on custom field change event of quote exp date that's why

I can't use. Context.WorkflowContext.Redirext = url . Because context.workfloe only available in custom action

Hi,

You may try customizing it via Responsive Template to call the corresponding API via UI layer directly. It can simulate the operation like a user operation.

But as Luka mentioned, it can be very time-consuming to complete the action.
