Legal Control for Inter Company Sales in SAP GTS

Hi GTS Experts,

Find my queries below, if possible, share your suggestion and solution for SAP GTS.

Scenario: - 1: - Local Customer (Germany) place order which will be fulfilled by USA plant so intercompany sales created. In GTS system expecting FTO should be FTO_Germany and Legal unit should be LU_USA. and

Requirement: - License should be applicable as per both USA and Germany countries.

Scenario 2:- International customer (UK) place order to Germany company which need to be fulfilled from USA Plant. So Intercompany sales order created. in GTS FTO should be FTO_Germany, Legal unit should be LU_USA.

Geography

1. Departure Country = US

2. Destination Country = GB

3. Billing country should be = DE

Requirement: - License should be applicable as per both USA and Germany countries.

Hello Arun,

Some of your assumptions may not be 100% correct. For the filing of exports out of the Unites States, you must be a US Legal Entity or a US Citizen. Our foreign trade compliance department requires that any Licenses (or License Exceptions) for US exports must have a US FTO assigned. Again, this is our process.

I would check with your US foreign trade compliance department to see if this aligns with their processes. If so, then some development may be in order to resolve your inter-company sales with US exports.
