Hi Experts,

I wanted to know how to configure below requirement.

I don't want to consolidate some legal entities during consolidation.

For Example :

Please let me know how to handle in BPC 10.0 Nw . Should I maintain ownership % " zero" or any new method for this.

Hi Sam,

You need to configure two hierarchy one is owner ship based hierarchy and another one is without ownership based hierarchy and attached both the group with single group.None ownership group is not participate in legal consolidation when you run consolidation process.

Don't assign any method to entities - E4 to E6, as you dont want them to consolidate.

Just don't maintain ownership for entities which are not part of consolidation.

Thanks for your explanation.

Then my question is what's the usage of field "applicable percent consolidation"?

Previously I set E4&E6 method 30(Equity) and then applicable percent consolidation value to 0.

But still E4&E6's data will copy to parent scope?

Do you know why? Thanks.

May I know,what is the use creating a method for consolidation for those entities you don't want to consolidate.

Maybe just one example below. I want to put the real hierarchy into BPC system, but then I find entity B's data is copied to it's parent scope.
