Journal won't post - itab_duplicate_key

Hi,

We are unable to post journals (we can save) and get the error message in ST22: ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY

suggesting that there is a primary key error.

We have recently upgraded the underlying BW system from BW7.4 to BW7,5 but I'm not entirely sure the issue is related as the last journal post in Dev system was in 2016.

Any ideas please someone?

Versions:

BW7.5 SP17

BPC 10.1 SP13 Standard

Please use correct "Insert Image" instead of "Insert File". I will not answer questions with "Insert File"

Also, please provide detailed version info: BW SP, BPC standard or embedded...

I've corrected my post as per your suggestion.

Please note, we are able to post journals in EnvironmentShell without issue.

Strange that error dump is related to control class...

May be you can recreate Journal template and test?
