Journal Validation

Hi all,

I have a requirement about journal validations. This client is running sap bpc 7.0 SQL and they have a validation before enter journals: depending on the account selected, you only can select some specific Flows. I had found where and how is it programed and I can see the following things:

The first screenshot shows the relation between ACCOUNTTL and ACCOUNT_DETAIL, by JRNFILTER property.

The second one, is the journal filter. Is a mapping between the JRNFILTER property and the elements of ACCOUNT_DETAIL dimension.

Then, when the user select an account to enter a journal, through this mapping, the user only can select specific flows.

My question is if this is available in SAP BPC 10.1 STANDARD NW. I know about JRN_VALIDATION, but as I know, this validations enter after the journal entry. Does some one knows if I can replicate this functionality?

You would need to validate when saving.

Have you checked badis:

UJJ_CALCULATED_AMOUNT? or UJ_VALIDATION_RULE_LOGIC?

The screenshots you sent from 7.0 and 7.5 are not available since version 10

Yes, up to him! And he already clearly stated that he need validation BEFORE save.
