Hi everyone,
We are implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. As part of the initial scoping, we had to activate some mandatory scope items, which cannot be subsequently activated: 1GA - Group Ledger IFRS, 2VA - GL US GAAP, 5HG Asset Accounting - Additional Depreciation Area, 5KF - Asset Under Construction, Additional Depreciation Area, 5W2 - Group Valuation.
At the moment, our client needs only 1GA. However, the other scope items are causing us to have 4 accounting ledgers in total (0L, 2L, 3L, 4G) in two currencies each, which creates inconvenience for the client, having to maintain data on all 4 ledgers.
Is there a way to deactivate all ledgers except the one for IFRS even though they have been included in the initial scoping and cannot be removed as scope items? And respectively, can this deactivation be in a way that they can be activated again in the future if needed?
I am not an accountant so I hope that my question is clear. Will appreciate your help.
Kind regards,
Stella
