Issue in replication to SAP CC (charge plan related to provider contract)

Hello,

I have one released Charge Plan for a specific product.

When I create one contract with that product, it gets technically active

And is replicated to SAP CC

However, as you can see, we have no charges related to that contract. What may be the explanation for this?

Please notice that the contracts are created to start in the same day, and not in the future, so this is not an explanation.

I also noticed that inside the fulfillment status I have a message (Item 10 is not relevant for distribution to SAP Convergent Charging)

Thanks for your help!

Frederico

Hi Frederico,

From Convergent Charging's point of view, you can at least verify what data was actually received during the replication:
- First: in Core tool, can you please check whether the contract spans over several periods? There is a clock icon, close to the right end of the toolbar. Clicking that will show you the versions/periods, and will tell you if the contract items are in the database but not shown on screen (there was a bug related with that, but we fixed it approximately four years ago).
- Second (or alternatively): still in Core tool, please save the contract into an XML file (using the "File" menu). The resulting XML document will reflect everything held by the contract, and consequently confirm whether CC has more than what is shown.
- Third: just to be sure, you may enable the "WS" debug traces in the updater before relaunching the replication. This will show you the dump of the SOAP replication query received by CC, and it'll confirm whether the client side actually sends the data you expect.
Based on your description, it seems that the SOAP query doesn't contain the contract items anyway. If the third suggestion above confirms that, you'll know that you need to involve a specialist of the client side of the replication process.

Best regards.

Hi Frederico,

In Manage Subscription Product-Specific Data, you need to maintain cross Catalog mapping and the related charge plan information. Also make sure the CCM is released.

For more details on CCM you can check the product help documentation.

Hi Frederico,

Since you are getting the following error:-

CRM_ISX_CC/022 - Item &1 is not relevant for distribution to SAP Convergent Charging

Check scenario ID for contract distribution(space signifies FICA + CC) and also check that mapping version(CCM) is not initial.

Hello Lokesh,

What do you mean when you say: Mapping Version (CCM) is not initial?

check under subscription specific data tab of your subscription contract if CCM version is populating correctly or coming as blank. This can relate the error you are getting above

Hi Frederico,

Thanks for your feedback.
This indeed confirms that Convergent Charging doesn't hold any more data for this contract.
If you want to be completely certain, you may also enable the "WS" debug traces in the updater and relaunch the replication (to generate SOAP dumps), but the client side apparently really didn't send anything more.

Based on that, it seems that the situation must be addressed by a CRM specialist (or a SOM specialist, depending on what you're using). Feel free to ask for more guidance regarding CC itself, though.

Best regards.
