Issue between BPC 10 Microsoft & Excel 2013

Hello BPC experts,

We have a problem with BPC since we use Excel 2013.

When controlers would like to copy figures from their own Excel sheet to BPC, Excel becomes totally freezed and everything is blocked.

This only solution is to kill Excel.

this operation works with Excel 2010.

We use BPC 10.0 SP13 Patch 5 Net 3.5 Build 8330 and Excel 2013 15.0.4787.1002 MSO 32 bits

Could you help us to solve this issue ?

Refresh

This is a similar issue where you have to upgrade your EPM Add In.

I encourage you to upgrade to the last version of EP/ Addin : SP24.

Hi Nicolas,

You are using the EPM addin SP 13 patch 5 which is pretty old.  There were a couple of fixes in later versions such as the one mentioned in SAP KB 1877126 with the ribbon becoming frozen after a refresh.  You should upgrade to the latest SP which is SP24 patch1.  If the upgrade does not resolve your issue then log an incident with SAP support.
