Issue after GL account is changed to open item management

Hi all,

client changed to open item management in 2002. I don't know which report was used back then. According to the log files, the change was processed on 22.10.2002. However all items before 22.10.2002 are listed as line items although the sum of all line items before 22.10.2002 is zero as seen in the screenshot below.

Does anybody know how to balance all items before 22.10.2002 to zero? It is kinda strange to have an open item managed gl account still with some line items.

Any ideas?

You can still run this report... Alternatively, if this doesn't work for whatever reason, you can try and change XOPVW flag in BSEG/BSIS tables.

It worked. Thx.

- Locked the account

- Used report ZRFSEPA02 for the given line items

- Unlocked the account

- Cleared GL account for the given line items

No need to manually edit BSEG/BSIS 😉

Hi,

Apparently, your client simply switched on the flag on G/L account master data, while it should have been done differently via executing RFSEPA02 report.
