Is Microsoft Access a Tool to use with EPM?

Good Day,

I am new to this group as well as to the process, so forgive my ignorance.

I am an analyst and I feel that there are tools that we can use data more efficiently for Analytical Purposes.

I use MS Access not just to gather data but to also generate reports, spreadsheets etc.

Can anyone tell me if there is a method that I could use our EPM to extract data from SAP and use it in MS Access?

Hi Charles,

Access is not a right tool to work with EPM. Access is a database, it's not for cubes.

For sure you can export cube data using Data Manager in EPM to csv file and then import csv in Access. But it's a wrong way...
