Is currency translation required in BPC 10.0 cosolidation?

If our local currency and reporting currency is the same, do we still have to run currency translation in BPC 10.0?

in BPC 7.5 we can run the consolidation package without run the currency translation.

Hi,

If you are running consolidation (package )from EPM add-in then no need to run currency translation. Check note mentioned by Vadim if you running consolidation from Consolidation monitor(web).
