Interest on Installment amount post additional line item in Customers accounts balance.

Hi FICA Consultants,

I have a requirement in which customer wants installment plan with interest i.e.18% p.a In standard installment amount can post including interest as per the intervals.

if ex: Amount Rs.750 converted in 3 installments with interest @ 18%

1st installment amt Rs.250 + (Int) 340.94 = 590.94

2nd installment amt Rs.250 + (Int) 340.94 = 590.94

3rd installment amt Rs.250 + (Int) 340.94 = 590.94

The above installment line items are posting in 3 installments of Rs.590.94 with interest in account balance and generating with 2 document numbers one is 3 installment line items each of Rs.590.94 and 2nd is interest total amount of Rs.1022.81/-

My client requirement is installment amount of Rs.250 and interest amount of Rs.340.94 has to post with separate each 3 line items installment and interest.

Please suggest me a suitable event which can achieve above requirement.

Hi Suresh,

Are you planning to have one FICA document no for IP and Interest with 3 line items?

I dont think its possible, to club IP and Interest into one as the source process is different for them.

Now if you want to split interest line item, check event 3040 and 0032 to start with.
