Hello,
is it possible to integrate SD with FI-CA in standard S4 ERP (not SAP Industry specific)?
Our objective is: to use the FI-CA as sub-ledger for SD instead of FI-AR (preferrably without using CI), thus to benefit from FI-CA Master Data structure and functionality for our needs.
We have already done the following:
1. Activated the Business Functions according to SAP Documentations
2. Activated the component FI-CAx (S Extended FI-CA)
3. Set up the interface in the customizing in both modules
However, in SD there seem to be elements which are only available for the Industry Solutions, like PS, IS-U etc. For example the optiom to choose a contract account in the sales order etc.
After a lot of research, finding insufficient documentation, we would like to confirm if this option is even technically available for non Industry Solution implementations before we invest any more time in this direction?
Thanks in advance,
E.Yahel

Thank you Bill
We actually followed the instructions in this Help, but there still seem to be elements missing and somewhere there it also states that some crucial functionality is in fact only supported in IS-PS (for example).
The question remains if this integration is even possible in non IS Systems? If the simple answer is yes, than we have to go back and check our installation, license, business function activation and the rest of the technical aspects. If it's not available, we would not pursue this direction and opt for other solutions. From this Help (and from the Business Functions Documentation) it is unfortunately not very clear
I would love to receive an answer to this question from people who have concrete experience in succssfully implementing this option
Wishing a good day
Regards,
E.Yahel
