At the time of contracting, a customer may elect to have a custom billing schedule. This is predominantly due to the customer’s budgetary cycles. Customer chooses the installment amount and Installment date as per his budget where Invoice date and Invoice amount does dot follow any specific pattern as Periodic Billing plan (Monthly/Quaterly/Yearly etc) where Billing dates follow a specific frequency and Billing amount is recurring.
Does SAP has standard process to accommodate these installment plans/Custom Billing schedules in BRIM. If so please advice on the process/workaround

Hi Roshan,
One possible approach is using allowances in Convergent Charging. Allowance has a feature to create another allowance from itself at its expiry. If the custom billing schedule is lets say monthly, followed by quarterly, followed by bi-monthly, then the first allowance will be created for a month, which on its expiry will create another allowance for a quarter, which in turn will create a bi-monthly allowance on its expiry, and so on.

You could use a Billing Plan with a series of one-off Billing Plan Items. See https://help.sap.com/viewer/fc005cff24e9430691c1e05ffd5f0eee/2021.000/en-US/5c5ebd5798558e09e1000000...
