Hi All,

Can you please suggest on the below requirement on GRC 12

- SF HR triggers is enabled to feed in access requests for Employees

- SNOW will also call GRC to create access requests for Contractors

So, which type of initiator rule should be used to capture the access requests i. e BRF flat/lineitem-by-lineitem or Function Module based?

Regards

Plaban

Hi Plaban,

Based on your description, HR trigger uses a different rule to create a request and SNOW uses web services to create a request. Once the request is created, same initiator rule will be used by both scenarios. You have to build the brplfus to accommodate both scenarios and use the same initiator. There is no option to have multiple initiators. You should use the same initiator to send to different paths based on your initiator rule result.

Thanks,
Prem

Hi Plaban,

It's customer choice. BRF plus is manageable without any code but FM needs code change incase of any logic changes.

Thanks,

Hi Prem,

I could not understand your reply. i have been given responsibility of creating the BRF+ application and would like to know the technical possibility of the type of rule to be activated, when both HR triggers(from SF) and SNOW calls are simultaneously active.

i know that SF can accommodate BRF+ line item by line item, initiator rule. But can SNOW use the same initiator rule. i am asking this because there is no standard connector to SNOW from GRC

Because only 1 initiator rule can be used at a time.
