Informal Entry and iDocs in GTS

Hello,

For the US, an informal entry (goods valued at less than $2500 in total), there is no requirement to communicate this entry to ACE. This is also true for shipments to Canada, except when a license is involved.

My question is, does GTS handle this out of the box, or is development required? I didn't see much in OSS Notes nor the Blogs regarding this topic. So, I was hoping for some input from those who do file with GTS today.

We are on GTS11, SP14, if this helps.

Hi Dean,

I think you'd need to add some code in BAdI /SAPSLL/CTRL_MM0C_R3, to prevent the low-value Goods Receipts from being transferred to GTS.

As you say, it would be good to hear from others who may have encountered the same issue.

Well, then that will removes the visibility in GTS of the informal entry in the first place. For me, I am hoping that this works 'out-of-the-box'. I am hoping that we hear form others as well.
