Impact of implementing the correction SAP Note 2912377

Dear Gurus ,

Please help to provide the impact of applying the correction SAP Note 2912377.

It is related to EK27 tcode .

Problem : Principal amount is not getting matched with transaction EK27 and transaction FPE3 .

We have a sap note 2912377 but need to know the impact of applying the correction note .Please suggest some workaround or ideas to fix this issue .

A SAP Note is essentially part of standard SAP. It is guaranteed by SAP. The expectation is, unless the note has specific warnings, it is safe to apply. Unless you've made changes to SAP code yourself, then there is no risk. Any damages will be sorted out by SAP.

You will not get any more guarantees than that.

If you are experiencing the problems outlined in the note, the note is the fix.
